What do you want people to know about your group?

Why should people join? What makes your group special? What will students gain by being a member?

Wesley House is an open environment that students, faculty, staff, and community members can come and share about their faith or learn more about Christian faith. We are a close-knit group that is open to anybody that walks through the door. By being a member, you will gain a sense of closeness to a unique group and will have dozens of opportunities for community service, bonding, and faith-growing.

Philanthropy

Does your group have a fundraising, volunteer, or service initiative? Do you consistently work with a non profit organization?

We have many community service projects that we carry out from one year to the next. Some of those projects include the Big Rapids CROP Walk, 30-Hour Famine, Adopt-a-Highway as well as volunteering once a month at the Third Ave. United Methodist Church Free Lunch program. Additionally, Wesley House attends a Mission Trip over Spring Break. This trip is designed to allow students to see and serve in a different part of the country as well as have an opportunity to grow their faith in an immersion setting.
