Omicron Delta Kappa Fall 2017 Application

Become a member of one of the most prestigious honor societies in the countries focused on celebrating and supporting the development of leadership. 

Membership in Omicron Delta Kappa is granted to those who demonstrate leadership achievements in one of five phases of campus life:

  • Athletics
  • Campus or Community Service, Social and Religious Activities, and Campus Government
  • Creative and Performing Arts
  • Journalism, Speech and Mass Media
  • Scholarship

Members are:

  • Undergraduate students who are juniors or seniors and rank in the upper 35 percent of their class
  • Graduate students
  • Faculty and staff
  • Local, national and international leaders who qualify for honorary membership

Members are expected to demonstrate:

  • Exemplary character
  • Responsible leadership and service in campus or community life
  • Superior scholarship
  • Genuine fellowship
  • Dedication to democratic ideals

In order to be considered for membership in Stetson's Omicron Delta Kappa Circle, one must:

  • Demonstrate leadership in at least one of the following phases of campus life: Athletics; Campus or Community Service, Social and Religious Activities, and Campus Government; Creative and Performing Arts; Journalism, Speech and Mass Media; or Scholarship
  • Be a junior, senior or graduate student
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above overall
  • Must be in good academic and conduct standing with Stetson University
  • Pay a one time membership fee of $88 to Omicron Delta Kappa (if accepted)

Applications will be accepted until March 21, 2018 and then reviewed for membership


  • Senior Applications will only be accepted in the fall semester, to give them adequate time to be an active member within the organization
  • Junior Applications will be accepted in the fall and spring semester
