Membership Process

If this organization has selective membership, please describe the selection process.

In order to commit the longevity of the Latino student professional organization stance we strive for at the University of Iowa, there will be an application process for membership in the fall and spring semesters. This application will consist of submitting membership dues with an application form required by the national board of directors and signing an agreement within our UI LULAC Collegiate Chapter where selective member shall commit to attend meetings according to the bylaws and hold leadership within the organization. Only by having every member have a special role, will they feel attached to the organization and commit to our mission. These opportunities and process would further be explained at recruitment events before they decide to apply.
