The Utah Conservation Corps started a community garden this past year, and is building it into a Urban Community Farm (UCF) offering education, hands-on programs, and food to the wider community. The UCF is looking for six regular interns who can help to maintain and build out the garden to prepare for the spring growing season. Now that the temperature at night is not sufficient to refreeze the ground, the UCC UCF can use assistance to dig up bindweed in a 20x50 field. Some first steps were taken to remove bind weed, but a large group is needed to complete the task.
