The Neuroscience Society provides the support that the growing discipline of neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago needs and deserves. Students gather together to share their passions for such a contemporary field by listening to featured professors speak, analyzing intriguing research, engaging in enriching discussions, and hosting a variety of events.
By partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association, we help fund innovative research and further the development of preventing neurodegeneration. The Neuroscience Society is where exemplary students can learn from one another and share their genuine love for academia.
We are a group of students interested in the fascinating interdisciplinary study of Neuroscience. Our meetings involve presentations and speakers about current topics in neuroscience, and we like to help students find out more about the Neuroscience major and minor as well. We also fundraise for neuroscience-related causes, like the Alzheimer's Association. We are planning a series of events for the upcoming year to enhance the presence of our club on campus--so keep your eyes open for those!
