The idea for Peer Hackers came from the lack of hackerspaces in midtown Detroit. In a hackerspace, many topics are learned through peer learning. Our goal is to create a network of peer learners to help people pursue whatever knowledge they want whenever they want.


Portal Information


We are an organization of students and non-students dedicated to advancing technical knowledge in individuals through peer learning. We consider ourselves to encompass all forms of DiY, engineering, programming, independent research, security, networking, art, music, and computing. We advocate for open source, societal fairness, and privacy. We are dedicated to giving everyone a fair chance to work on their project, or learn a topic they are interested in.
