Organization Overview


The California State University – Sacramento Club Sports Cycling Team is a co-ed recreational and competitive team that competes in road, mountain, and cyclocross races across California and Western Nevada. The Sac State Cycling Team is part of the Western Collegiate Cycling Conference (WCCC) under the USA Cycling program, competing with schools like UC-Davis, Santa Barbara, Chico State, Cal Poly SLO, and UNR. The team also has organized rides throughout the week for all types and abilities of riders. Aside from racing and joining us on group rides we encourage the use of bikes as a great means of transportation and recreation. One of the team’s main purpose is to bring new riders into the sport; all levels are welcome! Our team is compressed of male and female graduate and undergraduate students attending Sac State. Our collegiate season runs from Fall to Spring Semester, but we also enjoy riding and racing off season around the greater Sacramento Area.

Organization Statement of Purpose

This statement will be used to describe what the organization is about to those looking for or at student organizations to join or work with.

The California State University – Sacramento Club Sports Cycling Team is a co-ed recreational and competitive team that competes in road, mountain, and cyclocross races across California and Western Nevada.
