What does it mean to be an effective teacher and mentor? What sorts of strategies should be employed to serve as a mentor, especially for students at an undergraduate level? Is mentoring new students a valuable strategy, or is better to let them figure things out on their own? If these sorts of questions interest you, then you should consider attending our advanced teaching workshop (ATW) focused on discussing techniques and strategies to be an effective teacher and mentor for undergraduates.
