Peacemaking Circle Experience/Training for SU students and staff

Seattle University Campus Ministry and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, in partnership with ICTC, are hosting Saroeum Phoung and members of the King County Peacemaking Circle Coordinating Team for our second FREE peacemaking circle experience/training for SU students and staff.
Participants can expect to learn the about the practice & principles of peacemaking circles by experiencing time in circle with other attendees, as well as through exercises & conversation in community. We will learn how peacemaking circles can be a way to facilitate transformative conversation; innovative & communal solutions; creative, practical approaches to conflict; and restorative practices.
If you are interested in restorative justice, the juvenile detention process, and peacemaking circles– I hope you will join us.
The training runs from Saturday morning, June 2nd through Sunday afternoon, June 3rd at 6pm, and spaces are limited.
