Sep 17, 2017 by Sanim Rahman

Hello Members!

Are you currently involved in undergraduate research? Have you applied to the Fall Undergraduate Research Conference to give an oral presentation? Are you interested in obtaining a presentation opportunity? The Undergraduate Research Society is currently looking for undergraduate researchers to present at the Inaugural URSx Talk!

We will be accepting 4 students to give an oral presentation on the research that they are currently involved in. It is expected that presenters prepare a PowerPoint presentation and lecture for 10-15 minutes and expect a Q&A session of 5-10 minutes. Current undergraduate researchers, USF Faculty researchers, and URS E-Board will be in the audience to provide feedback on the presentation.

If you are interested in presenting, please fill out the Google Form at the bottom of the post. All majors and years are encouraged to apply.

The deadline to submit you application is Wednesday, September 20th, 2017. The date of the talk will be on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

If you have any questions about the application process and presenting, please contact me (sanimr@mail.usf.edu) or Nicole Libell (libell@mail.usf.edu)
