Jul 31, 2017 by Sanim Rahman
Hello URS Members!
Are you an education major or currently involved/interested in education research? Are you interested in joining the URS Ambassadors board to help promote undergraduate research at USF? We are currently conducting a search for our Education Ambassador for the 2017-2018 school year. If you are interested in the position, please apply through the Google Form at the bottom of the post.
The role of the Education Ambassador is to work with other Ambassadors of the organization that are active in research from around the University on initiatives to help the members of the organization. The responsibilities are variable depending on the project, but the main role is to represent the perspective of students who are involved in education research, and find ways to have education students get involved in research, and the organization overall. The roles of the ambassador initially would be to collaborate with the ambassador board to figure out initiatives to recruit members from all disciplines.
To apply, you must at least be a rising second-year student. You do not have to be involved in research, although it is strongly preferred. However, if accepted into the position, you are EXPECTED to be involved in education research.
The deadline to submit your application is Thursday, August 31st, 2017.
