Student Organization Principal Activities, Events, or Programs

Please describe any annual events you plan, conference you attend, regularly scheduled meetings (location, time, etc.). This information appears publically on the directory so the more you provide, the easier it is for students to get involved.

Each Fall, you'll find SAA on Pearl Street for Ask Me about Audiology Day passing out hearing protection and advocating for the field of Audiology,

How will this organization's activities benefit the CU Boulder community?

The CU-SAA organizes students to volunteer in community events which benefit those with hearing loss, connecting them to the broader community of people with hearing loss. The group also provides students with leadership opportunities and organizes travel to state and national audiology conventions, where students learn the latest developments in the field and are able to network with professionals in the field, which is vital for future employment opportunities.
