oSTEM hosts a variety of community events, annual queer symposiums and starting this Fall, gives out the Dr.Evelyn Hooker award for Advocacy in STEM. We also offer various networking and professional development events to arm our members with the best tools for the job market and grad school.

How will this organization's activities benefit the CU Boulder community?

We do a variety of networking and professional development events, including presentations by STEM employers and tours of their facilities, attending conferences, resume workshops, and interview workshops, as well as social activities, such as tabling at involvement fairs, barbecues, study-break events, and an annual lock-in in the Engineering Center. We also attend conferences such as the National oSTEM Conference and CreatingChange.
