We invite you to take a glimpse as to why Sigma Omega Nu has captured the hearts of many and continues to flourish in sunnie Northridge. The Eta Chapter of Sigma Omega Nu was established at the California State University, Northridge by six Founding Sisters on October 13, 2007. We believe in fostering each others' well-being and providing a tight knit support system that will last beyond our undergraduate careers. We are leaders on and off-campus, have diverse backgrounds and have a commitment to our communities.

The sisters of the Eta Chapter shall promote the objectives and purposes of Sigma Omega Nu, which are sisterhood, scholastic excellence, self-improvement and Latina/o awareness both on campus and in the community.

Our current chapter philanthropy is United Friends of the Children, which empowers current and former foster youth on their journey to self-sufficiency through service-enriched education and housing programs, advocacy, and consistent relationships with a community of people who care.. We also volunteer with other organizations in our community and this varies across sisters' interests.

Aside from being involved on campus we also believe in enjoying our time as a college students so we participate in social activities within and outside of the Greek community.
