Welcome to the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association, CSUN chapter! Our organization is composed of graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of communication and hearing disorders. NSSLHA is the only official national student association recognized by ASHA (the American Speech Language Hearing Association).  Our goal is to promote awareness of speech-language pathology and audiology through creative events, guest lectures, open forums, and meetings.  We invite anyone who is interested in the fields of speech-language pathology or audiology to join the CSUN NSSLHA chapter.  For inquiries please email at:

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.The mission of the CSUN Chapter of NSSLHA is to unite students in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences with those with similar interests enrolled in other departments on the CSUN campus, to provide relevant information to students concerning their academic tenure at California State University at Northridge, to inform members of contemporary affairs, concerning the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and to facilitate the transition from undergraduate studies to graduate studies, and graduate studies to entry into the profession.
