Welcome to the Writers' Circle portal! Writers' Circle aims to hone and improve the craft of student writers by creating a welcoming, intimate space where they can share their work and have it critiqued.
Writers' Circle intends to fulfill a role among writing and literature-related groups that is currently vacant at BC. While Stylus and other clubs and journals provide an outlet for students to exercise their editorial faculties with literature, while evaluating and publishing student artwork, Writers' Circle is built entirely around the creative aspect. The only end goal of attending weekly meetings is for members to have their work read and critiqued by the rest of the group, with the expectation that each member regularly brings in different pieces. Aspiring writers thus have a relaxed and passionate space in which to improve their writing craft and skill, while learning from other people who care just as much as they do about creating good work. No prior experience is necessary––only the desire to improve. Any and all mediums, styles, and genres are welcome.
