Our group consists of Graduate social work students who meet monthly to discuss a variety of topics.
Latinx SWGA aims to discuss issues that affect Latinx students working in the field of Social Work while also creating community with others SWGA chapters.

This group is open to any CSU East Bay MSW student who is currently enrolled in courses.

Please list your goals for the next year
Latinx SWGA will continue to collaborate with other culture specific SWGA groups in an effort to promote social justice, mental health awareness, macro-level interventions, and community partnerships; all while maintaining a focus on the intersectional issues that effect the Latinx community.
(For example: social, service, brotherhood/sisterhood, leadership, physical/fitness, etc.)
Support Groups- these will be created on a need to need basis utilizing student input as a guide.
Open Discussions- with the help of other groups there will be a rotation of topics including those involving the LGBTQ+, API, & Black communties.
Community Involvement/ Community Service - through quarterly events, we will organize different initiatives to help support local organizations including but not limited to feeding the homeless.
