As a unit within Student Affairs, the Center for Student Involvement is a multifaceted team working together to support students and student organizations. We create an engaging and inclusive environment that promotes leadership development, cultural awareness, and community involvement to help students find their passion and their place.
The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) was established in 2015 to be the new home for involvement at the University of Colorado Boulder. As a service department of the University of Colorado Boulder Student Government (CUSG) within the Division of Student Affairs, CSI oversees student organization processes and procedures; serving as banker, bookkeeper, travel agent, purchasing department, and event manager for student organizations. In our work, we seek to cultivate an environment for building vibrant, engaging and safe communities through programming, leadership development, cultural awareness and learning opportunities.
Please describe any events, programs, or activities the organization plans to do or currently does.
Not only do we work together supporting students and student organizations, we also plan large events for the campus community. Late Night Breakfast, the BE INVOLVED Fair, Student Involvement Fair, and UMC FallFest are just a few of the larger events our office executes. We also work closely and advise organizations like Program Council, the Distinguished Speakers Board, and Cultural Events Board.
