Welcome to the Augmented Reality Club! Our mission is to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and resources to create an augmented reality project. This is typically done in teams and includes working with HoloLens, AR Core, AR Kit, Vuforia, Meta2 or any new incoming products. Even if you know nothing about AR, come check out some workshops or tutorials and see how we are shaping reality!

The best way to get involved is to join our Facebook Group @UMD AR Club. Or get text notifications for reminders about events by texting 81010 "@umdarclub".

Description

AR Club is an organization that will help create the environment needed for students to develop functional Augmented Reality Applications for academic and recreational purposes. Throughout the semester, students will be able to take their ideas for Augmented Reality and bring them to life with the help of their own chosen teams. The AR applications created could not only help students become competent with coding languages such as C# and JavaScript; but also, become more comfortable with the game engine Unity and the 3D creation suite Blender.
