F-1 students: If you are planning on working in the U.S. after graduation, plan to attend this workshop where I'll be outlining the OPT application process and the regulations surrounding OPT reporting.  This is the only session being offered this spring. 

If you did not attend the fall session, remember: ATTENDANCE at ONE SESSION IS REQUIRED for all seniors applying for OPT.

This workshop is MANDATORY for all 1st year students studying here on an F-1 visa. Responsibilities, requirements and processes will be covered and representatives from the library, Dean's office, English department and Wellness office will be speaking about issues related to college writing, research and holistic approaches to dealing with issues that are often challenging for those coming from different academic systems. 

Lunch will be provided at the meeting.

Understanding U.S. health care can be frustrating and tricky.  Representatives from the Bailey Health Center will discuss what is covered under the college health plan and explain the nuances of physicians being "In-Network/Out of Network", what to expect with deductibles and co-pays, as well as local options for healthcare when BHC is closed.
