Nicole Kristal #StillBisexual Video Shoot !!!
Nicole Kristol will be on campus to facilitate a video shoot for her #StillBisexual video campaign that aims at dispelling one of the main misconceptions about bisexuals — that they don't stay that way.
Watching or making a #StillBisexual video can help bisexuals embrace and accept their orientation despite often not knowing any bisexuals in-person or being a part of the local bisexual community (if they have one).
#StillBisexual videos feature bisexuals of all ages, races, marital statuses and gender identities, silently flipping hand-written cards to music. The cards tell their stories of coming out as bisexual, the prejudice they encountered, and how they ultimately came to accept that their bisexuality was here to stay.
The #StillBisexual campaign has filmed videos in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Chicago and is in the process of branching out to a city near you. Participants have also filmed their own videos from across the country and submitted them to the campaign via Twitter and Facebook.
Those who have told their stories have found the process liberating and life-changing. By embracing your truth, you deflate your shame.
