Don't Miss the Trailblazer's Conference!

Oct 13, 2017 by Kristi Finger

How often do you see yourself represented in your field? If you're lucky you'd say often, but unfortunately for a lot of students of color this isn't always the case!

Come join us as we engage and celebrate our minority trailblazers and professionals! Don't miss an opportunity to network with world- renowned professionals and partake in guided workshops in the fields of art, medicine, dentistry, business, journalism and STEM. Receive industry advice and realistic and transferrable skills from professionals so you too can be a pioneer in your field of study!

Workshops topics include the importance of mentoring and sponsorship, personal branding, demystifying dentistry, high level step coding, working with a diverse team, creating your professional path in the arts and much more!

This event will take place on October 21 from 10 am- 6:30 pm in the IMU.

Free headshots and a leather portfolio will be offered to all conference participants. Printing and Mailing Services will be offering 20% off of business card orders to participating students. Use the code “TRAILBLAZERS17” when placing your order.

The first 25 students to register will receive a free copy of Byron Pitts' book Step Out on Nothing or Be the One

Pitts’ lecture will take place on Saturday, October 21 at 2:00 pm in the Main Lounge, IMU. Book signing and meet and greet will follow the lecture.
