It's Time to Renew Your Organization on OrgSync

The fall renewal period is August 1-September 15.  

Registered student organizations that do not renew during the Fall Renewal Period (before Sept. 15) will be de-activated on OrgSync and your organization will be considered in-active.  You will not be able to request or spend money, keep current room reservations, make new room reservations, or have access to any other UI resources until after January 1, 2018.

Your student organization is required to renew/update organization information on the group’s OrgSync portal each semester to maintain University registration. Groups renewed between August 1, 2017 and September 15, 2017, will be accepted as renewed/updated. You must update/renew even if you updated your organization on July 31, 2017. (Check the list below to see if your organization needs to renew... list is current as of August 10 at 8:45 PM.)

You must be a member of the organization IN OrgSync, and have Administrator access to complete renewal updates.

To sign-in to OrgSync visit:; click on the link titled “Sign-in OrgSync.” You will be routed to a page that asks for your Hawk ID and password.  If you do not have a personal profile within OrgSync, you will be prompted to create one when you login to the site.1 

Once in OrgSync, you must be a member of your organization. Click on “My Memberships” near the top of the screen; then click on the name of your organization in the drop down menu.2

You will then be routed to your organization’s portal. Once in your group’s portal click on the “Settings” tab on the right side of the Tool bar. If you see "Organization Settings" in the drop down menu, congratulations - you have Administrator Access!3 Click on “Organization Settings”, then finally click on the green "Update Profile" button. You will be directed to an area where you must review and update all pages of organization information. Even if there are no updates, you must review all the pages for accuracy; click the green "Finish" button on the final screen that says, "You're Almost Done!"

3 If you do not see “Organization Settings”, you do NOT have Administrator Access. Administrator access can be obtained by contacting your organization’s current Administrator who can grant you access by utilizing the People tool within your organization’s OrgSync portal. Fall Kick Off Meetings for Student Org Leaders

Primary & Secondary Reps - Join us for the annual mandatory Kick-off Meeting where you will meet student government leaders, learn about new processes, upcoming opportunities for, resources available, and policy changes related to officially registered UI student organizations.  The Primary or Secondary Representative (UI students) must attend one of the following sessions:

Fall 2017 Student Organization Fair

The Fall 2017 Student Organization Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 5:00-7:30 PM.  To see if your student organization is already signed up to participate, or to sign up your student organization, you must login to your personal profile on OrgSync in order to access the registration form which is located in the FORMS tool!  You will find all the details about the Student Organization Fair in the registration form.  

The deadline to sign up OR cancel your organization's registration is Friday, Aug. 25th at Noon.
