Welcome from the President & Vice President of Active Minds:
Hello Everyone, our names are Diana Alegre and Courtney Camua, we are thrilled that you are interested in becoming a part of Active Minds. We are a student run organization here at SF State University that is dedicated to education and awareness about mental health and the stigma that tends to follow. We provide resources acting as a liaison between students and the Counseling and Psychological Services and Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW), and participate in events all year long. In just 9 years, we have become an integral part of the mental health community both on and off campus. We are a growing organization with lots of volunteer opportunities for those who are interested in contributing to their campus and community.
If you are interested in joining Active Minds you are welcome to come to our weekly meetings Tuesdays from 2-4pm in Student Health Services Conference Room. Anyone is welcome, even if you just have questions or are wondering about resources that are available to you.
Feel free to contact us with questions, show up to any meeting, or participate in any way you can!
Have a wonderful semester!
