The UNL Arts Advocacy Day is a rally for the arts organized by the Hixson-Lied Undergraduate Student Advisory Board, the Lied Center Student Council, and Nebraskans for the Arts. Students with a love for the arts are encouraged to stop by for information on how to advocate for the arts and to write letters to their state representatives. Throughout the day, there will be several student performances and presentations, as well as an art activity led by Professor Eddie Dominguez.

Rennie Harris, a pioneering choreographer, dancer and founder of the company Rennie Harris Puremovement will be in conversation with UNL faculty for a special pre-performance talk immediately before the performance of LIFTED by Rennie Harris Puremovement on the Lied Center Main Stage.
