What else should people know about your meetings? Do you only meet once a month? Do attendees need to be added to an agenda? Is the location hard to find? If attendees need ADA accommodations, whom should they contact?
We meet once every week at an easy to find location in the business building. Our president is the main point of contact for the time-being.
Does your organization have a mission statement, catch phrase, or other marketing description? Information provided here may be used in university publications, websites, or other materials.
Our focus is to promote female leadership, participation, and support in cybersecurity, as well as promote collaboration among males and females within the field.
If your organization has selective membership, please describe the selection process. This may include a GPA requirement, try-outs, degree program, etc.
We would prefer the member to be in ISIN or Computer Science, but any person, male or female, can join. We also ask they maintain a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0.
Why should people join? What makes your group special? What will students gain by being a member?
People should join our RSO because we want to help them learn and understand the multiple avenues and opportunities for women that cybersecurity and other technologies have to offer.
