Calling all student artists! You are invited to submit your original artwork to the annual Student Art Exhibit, presented by EKU Libraries. Accepted pieces will be on display in the Main Library during the month of March and included in the People's Choice Awards competition on our Facebook page. The first-place winner of the People's Choice Award will have their art featured on a limited edition poster available to students in the fall.

Dewey Pope ’79 will discuss his book, Action Unlimited: The Band of Gold. The book tells the story of the musical journey taken by the group in the mid-sixties to California. The group was affiliated with Dick Clark, played Las Vegas and the west coast club circuit and was signed by a major record label. Action Unlimited got its start at Eastern Kentucky University as “The Maroons” and was one of the groups that played at the popular Richmond club, Speck’s.
