CPC Director Application 2019

Appointed Director Requirements:

  • Availability on Monday nights at 6:15 for Council Open Meetings; must attend all open meetings. 
  • Prior experience with the Council is NOT required.
  • Love and passion for Georgia Tech, as well as the overall Greek and Panhellenic community.
  • Ability to lead and be led.

Application Process:

  • Applications are due Tuesday, January 8th at 11:59 pm via OrgSync application
  • The 2019 CPC executive board will be responsible for selecting the directors
  • Applicant interviews will take place on Sunday, January 13th and selected candidates will be notified.
  • The 2019 directors will be announced to the community at the first open meeting (January 14th). 



Georgia Tech Collegiate Panhellenic Council Director Position Descriptions


Director of Environmental Initiatives/Greek Neighborhood Association 

This woman will serve as the Panhellenic Chair of the Greek Neighborhood Homeowner’s Association in collaboration with the Interfraternity Council GNA Chairman and attend all related meetings. The GNA Chair will work to see the Greek neighborhood is well-maintained in appearance, and set the framework for a HOA Board. This woman will also coordinate with the Interfraternity Council to consider potential changes for the Greek community’s outward appearance (lawns, flowers, annual cleanup day, etc.) and ensure chapters are aware of their assigned resources dumpsters, recycling locations, etc.). She will also be responsible for representing CPC to the Greek Recycling Council and Earth Day Committee and attending all related meetings. This woman should be highly interested in increasing Greek recycling initiatives and should plan to increase and create recycling opportunities within chapter houses, along with encouraging Game Day Recycling participation. This director reports to the Executive VP ( 

Director of Information Technology

Responsible for improving and updating the CPC website including photos, calendar events, contact information, and Panhellenic forms. She will also keep OrgSync updated. Needs to have knowledge of Drupal system and know how to update the website properly. Ideally will have extensive knowledge about coding. Reports to Communications VP ( 

Director of Merchandise 

Responsible for the design of Panhellenic merchandise. This woman is responsible for keeping contacts with merchandise representatives of her choosing, collecting money from chapters, and distributing merchandise to chapters.  Although not tasked with purchasing, the merchandise director must keep accurate and up-to-date records of orders and communicate expenses with Financial VP. She shall organize 1 fall, 1 spring, Circle of Sisterhood, and Recruitment Counselor merchandise orders. She reports to Communications VP ( 

Director of Promotions 

Responsible for keeping the Panhellenic Facebook Page, CPC Instagram, Circle of Sisterhood Instagram, and Pinterest account updated.  Responsible for assisting the executive board with writing and coordinating the Panhellenic page in the Blueprint, Panhellenic presence in the Technique, and publishing the Weekly Digest or semester newsletters.  The Promotions Director may assist the Recruitment Programming Vice President in Recruitment marketing efforts with the creation of FASET materials and the Guide to Greek Life. She will further be responsible for assisting with fliers and other promotional materials for CPC events. Reports to Communications VP ( 

Director of Community Initiatives 

Will work with the Student Center Programming Council (SCPC) to plan events. This chair will be responsible for planning the homecoming events of Mock Rock, Display Contest, and Banner Contest. This chair will also act as a liaison between SCPC and the Panhellenic Community. This chair should attend the majority of Homecoming events and may not participate in Homecoming. This chair will be responsible for liaising with the Greek Week Executive Board and updating the Panhellenic Community. This chair should attend the majority of Greek Week events. This chair will also organize cross council events with IFC, MGC, and NPHC to greater develop relationships with other Greek Councils. Community events should be centered around academic engagement, leadership development, or professional development. Reports to Programming VP ( 

Director of Educational Programming 

This woman should assist in the planning of Greeks Against Violence Training. She should serve as the liaison to Voice, Counseling Center, Health Initiatives, C2D2, and other campus organizations to host educational events and programming. This woman should plan educational and alternative programming for students as a means of education and prevention. Coordination with other councils and specific chapters is encouraged. Reports to Programming VP (
