Using Slack: Tired of trying to find things in your email? Finding it hard to sort through the communications you get from various committees and classes? Slack may be the answer! Slack is a communication app designed to help teams stay organized. Slack works on all platforms, Android/iPhone and tablets-either through downloading an app or using a browser. Slack is like a combination of email, Skype/Zoom, Blackboard discussions and shared Google drive all in one (plus more). It's a great asset for teaching because you can post important documents, allow students to communicate directly with each other through the app, create private channels for group work and also have direct (private) messages between individuals. Because Slack also allows you to have a shared Google drive and calendar, as well as post documents directly, it may be the tool that you need for your committee work, too.
