To inform and spread awareness of the Hindu religion and culture to the student life and campus of Loyola University Chicago.
We attempt to preserve Hinduism through the celebration of religious holidays, organization of cultural events, and daily Aarti (prayer) and facilitate religious discourse with social implications. All Loyola students are welcome to attend HSO events!
If your organization meets at a regular scheduled time and place, please provide the day(s), time(s), and location(s).
We normally meet throughout the year depending on the proximity of our major events and the needs of our members. However, we do have a regular prayer (aarti) time at 5:00pm in the Hindu Students' Organization Puja Room in Damen 238.
All organizations must have an advisor who is a full-time member of the University faculty, staff, or a member of the Jesuit community in order to be a registered organization.
