Are you interested in LGBTQ issues? Passionate about equality, understanding, and creating a safe environment for all? The Safe Zone Ally Program is looking for you!
The Safe Zone Program is a campus-wide initiative with the intent to recognize members of the University community who support the LGBTQ population, understand LGBTQ issues and are aware of the LGBTQ resources both on and off campus. The Safe Zone training sessions are two hours in length, and affords the basic information needed to be an Ally to the LGBTQ student population at USC Upstate. Registration is required for only one of the two hour training sessions in order to receive certification.
