Do you want to learn some survival skills for the 21st Century Digital Savannah? This semester, NUSSU commIT, AIESEC in NUS and Code for Asia present to you: Code-a-thon, a Web and Mobile Development Workshop! Come join our beginner-friendly hands-on workshop! Here, you can create your own webpage and mobile apps, coached by industry trainers themselves! All students with little or no programming knowledge are welcome. At the completion of this workshop, you will be awarded an e-certificate by Code for Asia.

Below is our workshop schedule:

The workshop content is exactly the same on two days, ie. Basic Mobile Development workshop on day 2 is a repeat of day 1 workshop. You can indicate your registration preference on the registration form.

In order to register for the workshop, participants are required to:

  1. RSVP the event "Code-a-thon" through this portal
  2. Go NUSSU Secretariat between 20 February 2018 - 22 February 2018 (10 AM to 6 PM, excluding lunch hour 1 PM - 3 PM)  and submit $5 deposit
  3. Attend Code-a-thon at the designated date and time
  4. Cash deposit will be returned upon attendance (Take note that cash deposit will not be returned if participant fails to attend the workshop)

Due to the high demand of our workshop, the participants of each session will be capped at 120 participants. Place will be given to first 120 participants who submit the deposit to the NUSSU Secretariat. We will accept deposit submission until 120 deposits are received. Once this quota is hit, we will send another notification email stating that the workshop has reached its quota.
