Project C.A.N. XV - External Volunteers Sign Up Form
Project C.A.N. (Collection in Aid of the Needy) is a Special Project under NUS Students' Community Service Club (CSC). Our project aims to provide support for the underprivileged through food rations, raising awareness, as well as forging meaningful relationships with them.
This year, we will be serving the elderly residing in MacPherson. Different phases (Publicity Drive, Collect, Challenge and Distribute) will be conducted across the weekends in July. Join us today to make a difference! :).
C.A.N. Collect (Saturday & Sunday, 7 & 8 July 2018):
Volunteers will carry out door-to-door collection of dried and canned food rations from residents in Macpherson HDB estate.
C.A.N. Challenge (Saturday & Sunday, 14 & 15 July 2018):
Volunteers will be stationed at booths set up in supermarkets to encourage the public to purchase and donate food rations of our beneficiaries’ preferences. Volunteers will also seek to raise awareness of our project and the beneficiaries we are supporting. Please note that volunteers will be allocated to shifts so do indicate in the sign up form if you are unable to commit to a certain timing.
C.A.N. Distribute (Saturday & Sunday, 28 & 29 July 2018):
Volunteers will visit the beneficiaries at their homes to distribute food packs and also interact with them.
Please take note that volunteer recruitment is on a first-come-first-served basis, so do sign up early to avoid disappointment!
We will verify your participation with us via email, so do keep a lookout for our confirmation email!
