Grant A Wish XVI Wish Engagement (REACH Community Services)
Thank you for expressing your interest in volunteering with GAW XVI! :)
Grant A Wish (GAW) is an annual special project under NUS Students' Community Service Club (CSC). Currently in its 16th year, GAW XVI seeks to fulfil the wishes of underprivileged elderly (REACH Community Services) and children (AMKFSC Community Services Ltd).
This year, the theme for our project is "Adventure of a Lifetime", where we aim to bring hope and the excitement of adventure to our beneficiaries. The Wish Engagement phase is the second phase of GAW where it aims to bridge the gap between our first phase of Wish Collection and our final Wish Party phase where we present our beneficiaries with their wishes. For this Wish Engagement phase, we will be interacting with the same group of seniors from the Wish Collection sessions held with REACH Community Services previously. Through this sustained interaction, we hope to strengthen our ties with our senior beneficiaries. There will be activities conducted during this session to allow the volunteers to bond with the beneficiaries and most importantly have an enjoyable experience and fun time with them! :)
We will be engaging the seniors from our partner organisation, REACH Community Services, to join us for a tour around NUS Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum.
A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful registration.
Feel free to approach us for any queries by dropping us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org :)
