Our mission is to rethink and challenge common paradigms of crime and punishment. The University of Oregon Criminal Justice Network (UO CJN) is dedicated to shifting existing structures of inequalities in our communities through awareness and action. Our discussions, studies, and actions are driven by an urgent need - demonstrated by hyper-criminalization, mass incarceration, unchecked state violence, and a burgeoning police state.
The UO Criminal Justice Network strives to engage people around issues of incarceration and public safety toward the improvement of our society.
