Welcome to the Latino Student Alliance! We are pleased to bring about a year full of events that spread cultural awareness and the diversity of the Latino experience. By educating others about our Latino identities, we seek to improve the community around us! Through community service and community engagement, we can show the greater Denver community the importance of the Latino identity!

Description

The purpose of the Latino Student Alliance will be to create and provide a strong and positive support group for Latino populations on campus through the promotion of cultural awareness and inclusivity. In order to address academic, social, and political issues LSA will provide cultural events, community involvement, advocacy, and student support while cooperating with other groups and communities across campus. In doing so, LSA will promote awareness and unity throughout University of Denver.

Description and Purpose

In order to address academic, social, and political issues LSA will provide cultural events, community involvement, advocacy, and student support while cooperating with other groups and communities across campus. LSA will provide an opportunity for students to educate themselves and others about the current issues affecting Latin America and Latino communities in the United States. Through dialogue, events, and community service LSA will raise awareness and educate the University of Denver community on the diversity of Latino experiences.
