Fraternity/Sorority Promotion Form
This form enables you to submit a contact request to our four governing councils that represent the 55 Greek-letter organizations at Georgia Institute of Technology. Please complete this form to let the chapters know that you have an announcement for them. Our chapters receive hundreds of announcements and requests each year. Greek letter organizations and their governing councils are private organizations and their chapter meetings are a time that they can meet to conduct their own business. It is up to the discretion of student leadership to set the meeting agenda and decide which announcements will be made.
Chapter Visits: Most of the announcements related to visitor requests can be communicated without receiving a visitor. Out of respect for the time of our chapter members, chapters limit the visitors they allow to attend and make announcements. If a chapter would like you to visit and make an announcement, you will hear back directly from the council/chapter President. Otherwise, you should not visit their chapter unannounced. For this reason, the announcement you submit should be as detailed as possible. Be mindful that the chapter leaders plan their meetings well in advance, so please do not send a request to visit a chapter the week of - most chapters meet on Wednesday evenings, but this can vary.
Flyers: If you are interested in sending any advertisements or flyers to our office, please just mail us a stack (4 councils: Collegiate Panhellenic Council - 10 Sororities, InterFraternity Council - 32 Fraternities, Multicultural Greek Council - 2 Sororities/2 Fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Conference - 1 Sorority/4 Fraternities), address it to Fraternity & Sorority Life, and we will put them in the chapter mailboxes.
Again, this form is a form to request communication to chapters, not a guarantee that your announcement will be made or that you will be contacted to visit any meetings to make your own announcement. Please see the last section of this form for more information on mailing and leaving a voicemail for chapter/council leaders.
