Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority Life at Georgia Institute of Technology! Fraternity and Sorority Life collaborates with several offices on campus to ensure each chapter and council is upholding the policies set forth by the Institute, as well as promoting safe and healthy lifestyles for all members of the fraternity and sorority community. When this opportunity is done right, when the experiences are paired with values and the endless resources are utilized, fraternity and sorority can be one of the best experiences on a college campus. The rituals and values set by our founders are not the answer, they are the roadmap to help develop students who can become more well-rounded citizens of society.
The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life provides support, advising, and advocacy for the members of the Greek community. The fraternity and sorority community at GT includes over 50 different organizations which are divided into four governing boards: the Collegiate Panhellenic Council, the Interfraternity Council, the Multicultural Greek Council, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. The staff members in Greek Affairs advise the leadership of the individual chapters and the executive boards of the four councils regarding basic operations, leadership development, risk management, hazing, event planning, recruitment, and membership development.
