Women's Mentoring Program: Mentee Application Form 2018-2019 Academic Year
Thanks for your interest in the Women's Mentoring Program. This application will require you to upload your resume and a 1-2 page essay that outlines what you hope to gain from the Women's Mentoring Program, such as: what you are looking for in a mentor, your career goals, and your aspirations for your personal and professional future. There will also be a short survey at the end. Deadline for applications is extended to Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Mentor/mentee pairs are required to meet, face-to-face, for an hour once a month, any additional commitments are negotiated between the mentor and mentee.
In addition to building a mentoring relationship, participating students and mentors have the opportunity to attend programs and activities focused on career and personal development.
You are required to attend four events during the program as a pair: the meet and greet when the pairs are announced (September), networking (October), the spring semester kick-off (January), and the mentor appreciation dinner (April). Mentees are also required to attend the Celebrate Women Conference at Ohio University Lancaster (March) if the Women's Center receives funding renewal for this part of the program (transportation and registration is included).
