Organization Overview

The mission of the Black Cultural Affairs Board is to address the issues facing Black students at Portland State University, while promoting and educating others about the Black experience in America. It is also our duty to provide a culturally enriching atmosphere for members and aid incoming students in adjusting to the university environment. The B.C.A.B. will offer members resources, promote their academic achievements and help develop their leadership skills. We will also serve in the Black community of Portland to support education and Black cultural affairs while providing social activities to unite the Black community.
