Pioneer Branch of IEEE has a general meeting on Thursday, 21st from 12:15 to 1:15 in SC-N 237. Our meetings are open to everyone whether you're a new or returning member.

We will be discussing:

  • Field Trip Logistics/Updates Google
    • When: March 15th ---- Time: TBD
    • Only 15 people can go...spots are filling up so email/ show up to this meeting to reserve your spot!
  • T-shirts- coming ~ end of March.
  • Graduation Stoles make sure to get on the list we will be ordering in~March. We will be voting on how much we are spending on these at this meeting!
  • Thursday, March 14th 12:30 to 1:15 Resume workshop! Bring your resume printed and we will review each other's resumes and we have a helpful powerpoint from the STEM Institute on how to build a resume/cover letter.  
  • Tuesday, March 19th 12:15 to 1:15 Professor at Santa Clara University will have a talk on, "How to Land A Dream Internship or Dream Job...Without Any Connections"
  • Friday, March 22nd 3:00pm to 10:00pm  Study Lock-down in N-Sci 237
  • Saturday, March 30th 9:30 to 12:00 Come join Young Professionals, IEEE members, in understanding the waste water treatment process and uncover the possible career path related to various engineering discipline including Medium Voltage Power Distribution, Process Control System, ect.
  • Thursday, April 11th 12:15 to 1:15 The Office of Internships is hosting a free internship workshop for student organizations on the topic of where to research, how to look for, and how to obtain an internship opportunity.
  • Friday, April 12th, 2019 (from 9 AM- 2 PM) Students Empowering Young Minds is putting on an annual science fair hosts approximately 50 students and will feature student organizations promoting different aspects of health, computer science and more. It also includes speakers from our own campus talking about their personal experiences in their journey to pursue STEM. 

You will need to have paid your dues in order to vote.
