The lesson plan template can also be found on the competitive events page of FLAFFA.org. All lesson plans must be completed using the template. As a reminder, the theme for the 2019 Agricultural Education CDE will be "Agricultural Leadership." The written test will come from Unit 6 in the Agriscience text reference listed in the rules. The relevant Agriscience Foundations standards and benchmarks are in the attached file. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

All students who submit a lesson plan will take the exam portion of the event on the on the Fall Online Preliminary Day (November 12). Advisors will need to register the participant for the online exam so that we can send the required information to the proctor.

The lesson plan score and the exam score will be carried over the event on December 7, 2019. If participantion grows to exceeed capacity to provide a quality experience for all participants, the combined score from the written exam and lesson plan will be used to determine the qulafiers that will compete on the day of the preliminary and final rounds. We will make this call once the November 1st lesson plan deadline passes.
