Deadline Today: Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference

Sep 9, 2019 by Ronnie Simmons

Due to school schedule disruptions related to Hurricane Dorian, the registration deadline will be extended to TODAY at 5:00PM.  As of this morning, there are 2,413 students and teachers registered. A couple of our locations are at (or very near) capacity.  Be sure to complete your chapter's registration as soon as possible.  Note: If your area conference is at capacity, feel free to register for any conference that still has vacancy.

Florida FFA is excited to announce the 2019 Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) conference.  This conference is the second phase of our leadership continuum. The COLT conference is designed to meet the needs of your chapter officers (or those that wish to become officers) and provide them with the tools that are necessary for a successful year of service.

Building on the individual skills learned during Chapter President’s Conference, the COLT experience helps officer teams identify their strengths and weaknesses as a group, and learn advanced interpersonal communication strategies and presentation delivery techniques.

These six single day conferences will be hosted throughout the state for your convenience.  While we encourage you to attend your designated area conference, you are welcome to attend the conference that best fits your schedule.

Registration is Now Open and will close September 9th.  To register, visit: https://floridaffa.formstack.com/forms/2019colt

Is it possible for an Officer to arrive late or leave early for a medical appointment? They would be transported by their parents if they miss the bus that leaves from campus.
