UPDATED Event Information: 2019 State Aquaculture CDE

Final arrangements are being made in preparation for the 2018 State AquacultureCareer Development Event (CDE) to be held April 12, 2019 in Ruskin. This event is only open to those teams who previously qualified for the State Event.
Attached to this email you will find the list of chapters who have qualified (top 10 middle and high school teams) and are registered for this event. Please be reminded that if your team is no longer planning to participate let us know by March 29th so that we may contact the next team.
For specific event information please read the attached CDE information sheet. Please note that lunch will be provided this year for each team's four team members plus one advisor. If you are bringing additional advisors/chaperones, please notify email@example.com so that we may have an accurate lunch count.
Species Identification List Update
There were few species that were listed in the incorrect category on the original species list. The rules and judging card have both been updated and are available on FLAFFA.org. Below is an overview of the corrections:
- Clark’s Anemonefish, Yellowtail Clownfish—moved FROM Drum TO Clownfish
- Red Drum—moved FROM Miscellaneous TO Drum
- Kissing Gourami, Pink Kisser—moved FROM Tetra TO Labyrinthfish
- Scissortail, Three-lined Rasbora—moved FROM Tetra to Cyprinid
- Lookdown (in the Jack group) use is Ornamental
The team activity scenario will be sent out next week.
