Event Information – 2018 State Leadership Summit

Florida FFA is excited to announce the 2018 State Leadership Summit!  This conference is the last phase of the Florida FFA leadership continuum.  The conference will be held at the Florida FFA Leadership Training Center (LTC), March 16-18, 2018.  This conference is open current District Officers, Sub-District Officers, Federation Officers, and prospective State Officer Candidates.

 State Leadership Summit (SLS) is the final conference in the chapter FFA officer training series. Its advanced leadership training that builds on the first two components of the chapter FFA officer leadership continuum, CPC and COLT. In addition to leadership development, participants develop an understanding of partner relationships and begin the initial phase of the state delegate process.

Registration is from 5:00-6:00pm on the 16th. Conference will begin at 6:30pm.

Registration should be completed using the online registration system. You will need to visit the Florida FFA website to register you and your students. Registration must be completed for each attendee attending the conference, including advisors and chaperones. To register, visit www. Once we have your registration we will reserve your spot. Adult Double $125

Adult Single $175

Price includes meals, lodging, conference materials, shirt, etc.  Adult Single Occupancy is based on limited availability and may not be available.



Please remember that the advisor attendance policy is in effect and all students must be accompanied by a designated school district representative.  In the event, that the designated representative is not the FFA advisor, a chaperone designation letter from the school principal is required at the time of check-in.  It is imperative that the letter specify the name of the chaperone and include the principal’s signature.  If your designated school district representative is another FFA advisor from your county, it is imperative that all parties are aware before arriving at the conference.


Dress Code

Students should be in official dress for the opening of the conference. Students will need business casual clothing for the remainder of the conference. Students should arrive in official dress as we will not check into rooms until dinner.


Required Forms

Florida FFA requires that each student complete and submit the Florida FFA Permission and Emergency Medical Form, including notary signature, for each overnight event.  This form is attached to this email and can be found on the Florida FFA website at  Please bring completed form with you to the conference.  Please do not fax or send permission forms prior to the event.


Cancellation Policy

Fees are non-refundable unless cancellations are made 48 hours in advance to check-in.  All payments are due at time of check in.  If payment is not received at check-in, a credit card will be necessary to secure conference attendance.
