Florida FFA Officers Begin Their Journey to South Africa
Jan 2, 2018 by Ronnie Simmons
Earlier today, the Florida FFA State Officers departed Gainesville bound for Washington, DC. Upon arrival in our Nations Capital, they joined with 69 other state officers to participate in the International Leadership Seminar for State Officers (ILSSO). On Thursday, after two days of intensive cultural training, these 75 officers will depart Washington, DC on an overnight flight to Johannesburg, South Africa where they will immerse themselves in the South African culture. Their initial travels will include an 8-hour flight crossing the Atlantic Ocean, a brief refueling stop in West Africa, and a final 8-hour flight on to their destination in South Africa.
Be sure to follow (and encourage FFA members to follow) their trip and read about their travels by clicking here or visiting https://www.ffanewhorizons.org/2017/12/29/follow-ilsso18-to-south-africa/. The official hashtag for the trip is #ILSSO18.
Also, if you are interested in checking out the full itinerary of their trip, you can find it attached to this email below.
