Event Results (Revised) - 2017 Tool Identification CDE

Note: After further review, it was determined that an item displayed in the Identification portion of the Tool ID CDE was incorrect. The item displayed as a Switch Box was technically a Junction Box. The appropriate steps have been taken to remove this item from the event and the score reports have been revised. Although the winning team and the high individuals remain the same, other teams and individuals may have been affected. See revised score reports below.
Florida FFA is excited to announce the results of the 2017 Middle School State Tool Identification Career Development Event. This event was held at the Leadership Training Center in Haines City, FL on November 30, 2017. The Tool Identification Event is designed to develop the ability to correctly identify the names and uses of a variety of tools common to the Agricultural Education Curriculum.
Special thanks goes to the event superintendent, Scarlet Jackson of Warner University as well David Byrd for their outstanding assistance with today’s event.
As a matter of procedure, event results were considered unofficial for (2) business days following original publishing. It is the responsibility of the FFA Advisor to request and review individual team results. Any appeal must be made to the FFA Executive Secretary in writing for necessary adjustments to be made. At the close of business on the second business day following publishing, results will be official.
