We continue to ask that FFA Advisors share with us any needs that you, your chapter and your members may have so that we can assist with coordinating resources.  We have been contacted by our FFA and Ag Ed counterparts in several states who are ready and willing to offer their assistance.

Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference Changes or Cancellations

If you are attending the Area 2 - 6 COLT Conferences and you have changes to your original registration please email those changes to  Please send all changes no later Friday, September 22.

Competitive Events

Forestry CDE

Registration for the 2017 District Forestry CDE is now open.  Registration closes on September 26, 2017 at 5:00 PM.  Once the registration system closes no further registrations will be accommodated.   Registration must be done through the online form.

The newest version of the Dairy Evaluation CDE Management Exam resource (2017 VA Dairy Quiz Bowl Materials) is now available and has been posted in the Dairy Evaluation CDE resource folder on the completive events page of

Membership Roster

The National FFA membership roster is now available but does have some changes.  We will be providing you with resources to help with your roster at the upcoming COLT conferences and will email out these resources out as well.  We ask that you continue collecting the necessary information to add your members to the membership system so that you begin adding as soon as possible.  

Foundation Corner

Recently, the Florida FFA Foundation awarded over $25,000 to those students and chapters who are representing Florida at the National FFA Convention and Expo! The checks are being processed and mailed to those chapters. Congratulations and best of luck! The Ten for Ten Giving Program is for Florida's Agriculture Education Teachers to commit to giving $10 per month for 10 months for a total yearly contribution of $100. Donations begin in August and run through May. All donations are tax deductible and proceeds will benefit the special projects of the Florida FFA Foundation and will directly benefit students. A special THANK YOU to the educators who have already signed up to be a part of this program.
