Final Registration Opportunity - 2017 COLT Conference

Due to many schools just starting back today, registration for the 2017 COLT Conferences (Areas 3 thru 6) has been extended until tomorrow (Tuesday, 09/19) at 12:00 PM (noon).

Registration for Area 1 & 2 COLT is CLOSED, as it they have reached capacity.

Florida FFA is excited to announce the 2017 Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) conference.  This conference is the second phase of our leadership continuum. The COLT conference is designed to meet the needs of your chapter officers (or those that wish to become officers) and provide them with the tools that are necessary for a successful year of service. 

Building on the individual skills learned during Chapter President’s Conference, the COLT experience helps officer teams identify their strengths and weaknesses as a group, and learn advanced interpersonal communication strategies and presentation delivery techniques.  

These six single day conferences will be hosted throughout the state for your convenience.

ELIGIBILITY
This conference is open to all FFA members, but is designed for chapter officers. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Fees are non-refundable unless cancellations are made 48 hours in advance to check-in.  All payments are due at time of check in.  If payment is not received at check-in, a credit card will be necessary to secure conference attendance.

STUDENT $25 
ADULT $25 
Price includes lunch & conference materials.  FFA T-shirts available for sale.

CHAPERONES
Please remember that the advisor attendance policy is in effect and all students must be accompanied by a designated school district representative.  In the event that the designated representative is not the FFA advisor, a chaperone designation letter from the school principal is required at the time of check-in.  It is imperative that the letter specify the name of the chaperone and include the principal’s signature.  If your designated school district representative is another FFA advisor from your county, it is imperative that all parties are aware before arriving at the conference.  

DRESS CODE
Students should be in official dress for the duration of the conference.
