Welcome to the Griffith University Handball Club - The Griffith Vikings!

The Griffith University Vikings is a registered Sports Club of Griffith University dedicated to offering students, alumni and the public a sociable and welcoming atmosphere to learn, play and practice the wonderful game of Handball.  

The Club meets on a regular basis at the Mount Gravatt Rec Hall to take part in the exhilarating game that is Handball! We play and train on campus and around Brisbane regularly with the club aiming to involve teams in local competitions as well as Uni Games and various other external local events.

Viking members are always happy to provide assistance, tips and tricks in the game of Handball when possible to help further our members experience and love of Handball. We have teams for everyone no matter your skill or ability level.

Description

European handball is a fast paced and contact team sport, we enter mixed teams into the Northern and Australian University Games.

Training sessions are held every Monday 8:00 - 10:00 pm at the Mt Gravatt Recreational Hall.

What internal competitions (Griffith University) does your sport club participate in? Example; Social Sport Basketball (Mixed & Mens)

Currently no internal competitions, however training is on once a week, where games are played within the 2 hour session. If enough people in the club are interested we can try to arrange a second session, either in the court or outside!
